General Electric Lead Sourcing Specialist - Accounts Payable Regional Leader in Veresegyhaz, Hungary
Job Description Summary
On time payment to suppliers is a critical priority for Gas Power Accounts payable. In this role, as an Accounts Payable Regional Process Leader, you will lead efforts across Europe, Middle East and Asia regions to drive improvements across the accounts payable process. This role will include short term tactical and long term strategic elements in order to drive continuous improvement initiatives with our internal stakeholders and with strategic third party partners.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide oversight to large suppliers or Business Process Outsourcing. Ensure Business Process Outsourcing compliance with SLAs and act as the primary point of contact on all service level issues and resolution.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
Drive process improvement by leveraging lean tools such as problem solving.
Support Kaizen initiatives.
Manage operations through lean daily management.
Design and implement standard processes
Assist with Gas Power ERP initiatives which impact accounts payable.
Create and support documentation of new processes, including regional variations.
Support simplification and process improvement projects within the buy to pay process.
Support invoice elimination, holds transformation and user experience improvement initiatives.
Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in Finance, Accounting or other specific Source to Pay functions. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
