Job Description Summary
Provide engineering support for assembly process of a power plant. Complete manufacturing engineering program including document management, development of manufacturing processes, driving process/fixture improvements, carry out lead- and cycle time improvements, COQ and EHS actions. Primary engineering related contact person towards design engineering team. Trigger LEAN initiatives and use 6 sigma tools for process improvements.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide and maintain detailed drawing and specification documentation package for quality product realization
Determine and formalize process parameters through instruction method sheets
Support shop-floor assembly to assure that operators are following the given processes
Continuous improvement and optimization of standard work processes as well as design corrections as part of non-conformance handling process helping long term quality improvements
Technical experts of Engineering Change Notices“ implementation to manufacturing product line
Participate on technical reviews/meetings representing manufacturing site
Implement productivity actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
Ownership of ERP in terms of BOM, Routing development. Check and improve part lists and general methods including determination of standard time
Draft and analyze all sorts of key indicators (plan/actual comparisons, determination of cycle time)
Improve quality of product and processes by implementing COQ actions
Interface with planning and requisition engineering functions
Perform back-up activity for other engineers in the organization Participates in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area
Participates in LEAN initiative, driving AWO actions to completion
Requirements:
Mechanical/electrical engineer graduated
Significant experience in mechanical industry (Power plant, aero driven or energetic skills preferred)
Good English and Hungarian language knowledge is must
Knowledge in quality/productivity modern tools (Six Sigma, problem solving),
High awareness of safety (EHS)
Team player behavior, open minded and energetic personality,
Able to work with office automation (Word, Excel, AutoCAD or equivalent)
Willingness to work in a dynamic, performance-oriented environment
Willingness to undergo further professional training and to work independently
