General Electric Supplier Quality Engineer/ Responsable Qualité Fournisseur H/F in Veresegyház, Hungary

Job Description Summary

The SQE guarantees the quality of the products delivered by our suppliers through the respect of the existing procedures (QMS, traceability…). To do so, you work in close relation with several company departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Buyers, Quality, Project management, Compliance team, Site supervision…)

Main responsibilities

  • The SQE conducts, in collaboration with the CL (Commodity Leader), the commodity assessments in order to check the supplier capability (experience, project management, manufacturing ability, quality system, EHS…)

  • The SQE guarantees the conformity of the parts and delivery date

  • The SQE is the supplier primary interface regarding the qualification steps for product/supplier/manufacturing site

  • Participate to the design reviews, approves the MPP (Manufacturing Process Plan) and the PQP (Product Quality Plan) before 1st piece released

  • Audit the product manufacturing, conducts final inspection, checks quality documentation and authorizes shipment in accordance with the qualification team

  • She/he is in charge of COFs (Cost Of Failure) for the suppliers in his scope for FPQ and serial production with the support of PQE teams (CSQ et GSC) through audits (product, process, quality, compliance…)

  • Manage the supplier deviation request (SDR)

  • She/he address, to the right supplier, the defect detected at assembly sites and checks their responsibility

  • Ensure for the major defects, the correction and the containment of the defect, the root cause analysis and the corrective and preventive actions deployment

  • Assists the CL (Commodity Leader) during VR reviews (Vendor Recovery)

We are looking for you if you have the followings:

  • Mechanical, manufacturing or material engineer degree

  • Speaks fluently in English. If you speak other languages it would be an advantage

  • Experience in a similar position

  • Ability to travel, as you can expect travelling in 30% of your work time

  • Strong analyze, synthesis and communication abilities

  • Invest casting skills and experienced

  • Certified auditor (IATC or IRCA)

  • 6 Sigma Green Belt certified

  • RCA leader certified
