Job Description Summary
Work for a complete tooling program, including tools cost out development, changes and support manufacturing NPI’s, driving tooling technology and process improvements. Leading and executing factory level tools projects which are in yearly plan. Implement tool productivity actions, review usage, and make controls to support the manufacturing.
Identify and lead tools cost out projects, implement productivity and technology improvement.
Lead tooling engineer and intern
Lead factory level tool test for project execution for NPI and cost out
Leading tools changing or improvement for cost out execution.
Control of tool changes and improvement result in daily production
Active participation on financial tool cost usage planning with proposal and cost analisys,
Technology single point of contact of Tools Suppliers
Seeking new tools supplier and support technology tender on capability/cost
Support sourcing activities for new tools supplier implementation
Participate in LEAN initiative, action workouts.
Manage the daily execution of short/long term tooling projects
Analyze tool usage and execute improvement actions
Bring new ideas and positive support to the current tooling processes.
Bsc or Msc degree (preferable technical studies)
Relevant experience in gas turbine parts manufacturing. (pref. cutting technology)
Relevant experienc as Manufacturing or Tooling Engineer position,
Practical knowledge of machining and cutting techniques
Fluent in Hungarian and English
