Responsible for technical support of business planning and production. Provides key link between plant and GE Gas Power engineering organizations.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Drive COE quotation workflow process, provide key inputs and assistance,
Coordinate internal activities related to NPI programs / communicate with customer representatives,
Communicate with customer and design engineering representatives regarding NPI programs as needed,
Track and facilitate drawing/specifications changes initiated for error corrections or cost reductions,
Manage distribution of production support documentations (drawings, eng. BoMs, UG models),
Provide assistance to cell Manufacturing Engineers regarding technical questions,
Conduct feasibility studies for product transfer or introduction,
Identify additional machine requirements due to capability shortfalls,
Lead internal qualifications with both local engineering, QPEs/SQEs and DE/RE/MPE team,
Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events,
Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules
Responsible for appropriate escalation of drawing and BOM errors.
Responsible for quotations, and product implementations
Requirements:
BSc or MSc degree in Engineering (Advanced degree preferred) or equivalent knowledge or experience
Proven experience in gas turbine parts manufacturing
Some background in Manufacturing/Quality Engineer or completed OMLP
Fluent in English, Hungarian
Practical knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques
Functional ability using personal computing applications (word processors, spreadsheets, graphics, email, etc.)
Drawing/BOM understanding and correlation
