General Electric Sales Specialist, Digital Care Solutions in Various, Sweden

Role Summary:

The DCS Sales Specialist will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities within existing and new accounts, and leading the wing to wing sales process in order to achieve growth and orders targets for the High Acuity Care (HAC) segment across Sweden. This includes solution selling, account planning, quoting, as well as managing the bid process, tender deliverables coordination from the broader technical and functional teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

You will work closely with the LifeCare Solutions commercial organization, as lead pre-sales support to maximize reach, impact, and to drive growth of the HAC franchise. Furthermore, this role will interface into HC Digital delivery and support teams, European DCS HQ and Global Product management to highlight and drive market needs.

  • Achieve orders volumes at the target prices and profitability levels in assigned accounts/territory.

  • Support LCS sales team to generate funnel, qualify and address opportunities in a competitive manner.

  • Develop and quote HAC offers (incl SW, ITPS, Services, etc) adapted to market needs and emphasizing competitive advantages.

  • Develop an excellent knowledge of GE product and service portfolio and competitors’ products.

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Sweden PDMS/healthcare market (Intensive Care Units and Operating Rooms), trends, and key actors including government/regional bodies, EMRs, etc.

  • Establish, cultivate and maintain customer relations at appropriate decision-maker levels.

  • Lead tender/bid teams by coordinating multiple functions (product mgt, IT professional services, finance, etc) to submit quality RFPs and meeting the imposed deadlines.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering, technology or related discipline (or equivalent knowledge / experience)

  • Experience in digital sales or applications specialists.

  • Proven experience and knowledge in the healthcare sector.

  • Must be willing to travel and commute over assigned territory.

  • Solution selling and consultative approach including experience in Analytics.

  • Develops acceptable strategies to mitigate risks triggered in RFP's and/or customers' T&Cs while meeting GE business objectives.

  • Strong negotiation and sales leadership skills.

  • Understands people's roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates.

  • Identifies and coordinates owners, sponsors, timelines, actions and deliverables for the deal, from proposal preparation until contract closure if applicable.

  • Adeptly manages emotions and the negotiations process by identifying customer needs over wants.

  • Achieves and maintains direct involvement in customer discussions about expected business outcomes and benefits from the solution.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences alike across all organizational levels.

  • Understands different customer financing models and options.

  • Can model a business case and understands the various financial instruments used by customers to conduct business.
