General Electric Sales Specialist in Various, Spain

Role Summary:

Customer facing staff responsible for winning business.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Within a geographic area responsible for selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects

  • Gives input to a sales plan in a specific area

  • Professional products

  • Sales representative has to understand technical workings, conditions of use, specifications etc.

  • Is expected to define customer approach autonomously

  • Leads a department of large personnel costs Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with strong experience in Sales)

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Must be willing to travel

  • Valid work permit for European UnionIf contracted in Spain:Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement. Desired Characteristics:

  • NDT Experience will be considered, mainly UT/RX Level II or lab equipment sales

  • Language: Fluent in Catalan, Spanish and English

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • High motivation level

  • Strong problem solving skills
