General Electric Account Manager – Contrast Media in Various, Chile

Role Summary:

Sell the contrast media (Omnipaque, Visipaque, Omniscan) produced by GE Healthcare's Core Imaging division.

To generate demand for these products and services for assigned accounts within a specific geography.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving the orders and the objective of sales OP for accounts within the assigned geographical territory from Santiago to Punta Arenas

  • Provide market information to address the pricing strategy and ensure compliance with the margins required by GE for this business

  • Estimate and obtain the best possible margins in the negotiations carried out by the person in this role to achieve business objectives

  • Create business plans for the territory / assigned accounts that include, among others, opportunity development, competitive strategies and achievable objectives

  • Develop solid business relationships by identifying those responsible for technical, financial and strategic decisions

  • Maintain contact records with customers in updated

  • Develop and continuously improve a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory from Santiago to Punta Arenas

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of their own contrast media solutions and their competence

  • Be able to present and analyze technology and clinical benefits in terms that are relevant to clients

  • Differentiate the offer of products assigned during the different stages of the sales process, effectively using GE's resources and the approved product promotion material to actively support the client through its decision-making process towards a result successful for GE

  • Represent the company at relevant medical conferences, such as; Seminars, courses of the Radiology and Hemodynamics Societies, Technical Exhibitions to promote the product and discover new business opportunities

  • Identify, conduct and evaluate each bidding process of the Public Portal corresponding to its territory, including the qualification of the needs, the selection of the supplier, the quotation and the closing of its product opportunities

  • Work constantly aligned with other areas of Core Imaging such as Customer Service, Public Portal, Quality and Regulatory

  • Identify and share all news about the market and customers that may open new opportunities to other GE Healthcare lines, establishing a One GE


  • University or Superior Degree

  • Proficient in English language

  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in sales or marketing related to a solid exposure to the methodology of account management

  • High Ethics and Integrity

  • Customer-centered mentality with demonstrated ability to respond quickly to the needs of internal and external clients

  • Flexibility and interpersonal tolerance

  • Must live and be able to travel within the assigned territory

  • Ability to build a relationship, energize and positively influence people

  • Analytical with great capacity to assimilate complex data and simplify solutions
