General Electric Principal Technical Program Manager in Van Buren Township, Michigan

Role Summary:

Responsible for managing the Legal Entity Separation for the Digital Technology work across multiple divestiture deals and remaining businesses. Act as a primary contact to GSMO and ERP/ System leads (Across Fin, HR and Commercial DT) to develop LE demerge workplans and track progress. Extremely high visibility and strategic role for a duration of 15 months.

In this role, you will:

  • Obtain information on impacted deals and be the point of contact for all businesses and secondary escalation point for DT SMO and Michigan DT Remain Co leads

  • Establish plan for shared DT organization programs as they pertain to separating entities, and coordinate that plan with the program leaders

  • Manages consultants to ensure work deliverables are achieved. Work with a single team, across teams, GE sub-business or entire GE business to implement strategy

  • Develop project plans for impacted businesses for active deals and review workplans developed by ERP / Systems leads

  • Validate costs, timelines and effort suggested by ERP / System leads

  • Leverage deep technology, process and domain expertise to drive execution as well as identify, mitigate, and escalate any deal related risks

  • Provide subject matter contribution to ERP and system configuration and go-live

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on the progress, challenges and resolution Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and 10+ years’ experience with Program and/or Project Management, driving cross-functional engagement and benefits

  • Strong negotiations skills and a process focused with clear thinking abilities
