Responsibilite for advising the customer on all aspects of the Operational activities at the Power Station, including plant operational performance, the integration of maintenance activities, in compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety requirements and within the boundaries of the Contract, the grid company and Customer dispatch requirements.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

 Support the O&M Manager and customer in meeting the contractual, technical and commercial obligations of the Power Station

 Support the customer in ensuring that the Power Station operates safely in accordance with the regulations and requirements of the grid company.

 Advise the customer in managing the operation of the Power Station and co-ordinate the integration of daily maintenance activities, setting priorities and defining operational concerns for long term planning

 Provide instructions (in-situ) on technical and managerial issues including daily operations and maintenance.

 Implementation and audit of established operations and maintenance practices.

 Implement relevant O&M procedures and adapt them to site specifics Work Instructions as per requirements of the contract.

 Report technical incidents and set-up links with engineering teams and the COE for feedback of technical experience and problem solving.

 Maintain a high safety conscious working environment and support the customer and EHS function in compliance with all Health & Safety requirements. Actively identify and report hazards and near misses according to EHS requirements.

 Actively develop improvement potentials for all processes and issue recommendation reports for improvements identified.

 Report monthly operational data, plant availability, outage forecasts and relevant plant operational information as required.

 Support the customer in developing structured training programmes for upgrading of Operator skills.

 Be available on-call to attend as necessary during an emergency after-office hours to advise / assist / provide technical assistance to the customer..

 Work with other members of the team to maintain good relations with the Customer and other parties

Qualifications/Requirements :

 Recognized Engineering qualifications to degree level, in Electrical, Controls or Mechanical engineering.

 Substantial knowledge of the operations and maintenance of GT13E2 based combined cycle power station.

 Able to perform basic work (perform simulations / overrides and troubleshooting) in the AC160 and AC450 control system.

 AESP certification for confined space.

 At least 5 years experience in operations and maintenance of GT13E2 based combined cycle power station.

 Ability to troubleshoot power plant processes hands-on.
