Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordination of instrumentation activities in experimental testing

  • Concurrence on instrumentation design

  • Quotations and planning of instrumentation application activities

  • Selection of proper instrumentation, application methods and materials

  • Training of operators and overview of application execution

  • Check of instrumentation post application

  • Instrumentation reports

  • Best practices definition and sharing

  • Management of the instrumentation in stock and of procurement working with sourcing and suppliers

  • Repair procedures definition

  • Scout and develop new instrumentation and application processes according to the needs of the new Programs

  • Coordination of the Catalyst core 1 instrumentation execution

  • Monitoring and controlling of the scheduled activities

  • Change management

  • Problem solving with the team to meet the delivery targets

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Aeronautics or Mechanical or Electrical or Electronic Engineering

  • Fluent English and Italian

  • Proven experience in an engineering role

  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings

  • Solid background in instrumentation, measurement and acquisition systems

  • Familiarity with the Quality System

  • Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required

  • Project management skills to plan and monitor the activities in terms of schedule and costs

  • Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Proven experience in leading cross functional and multicultural teams

  • PC proficiency
