Role Summary:

Clinical Configuration Specialist (CCS) documents workflows and performs gap analysis of current and future state. CCS will also populate the PACS database and correlate procedure codes to body parts for relevance. In addition, the CCS will be capable to train customers to use GE software products, which may include the development and support of the physician clinical reports within the application.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site and remote clinical applications training to ensure the customer can effectively use the product to maximize their productivity and long-term success.

  • Demonstrate product expertise during remote sessions and customer support.

  • Provide remote development for standardized structured clinical reporting with knowledge in accreditation and registry standards and/or provide remote support for product clinical education modules.

  • Answer a wide range of questions concerning software and clinical applications.

  • Actively participate in the development of customer training tools and providing input in regards to relevant clinical tools needed for future products and services.

  • Maintain on time schedules, quality metrics and high measurable customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate all relevant customer information including product and customer opportunities to sales, marketing, project management and technical support.

  • Assist in the resolution of customer issues to ensure greater than 90 % customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as field liaison with Sales, Marketing, and Service Organizations on customer-related product issues.

  • Promote and support GE Healthcare Digital Professional Service offerings.

  • Participate in process improvement methodologies for training delivery.

  • Support Team and Business Initiatives and Comply with GE Policies.

  • 100% compliance with GEHC implementation documentation requirements. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military education, plus 3+ years’ experience in an IT related field; or Associates Degree with 5+ years’ experience in IT related field; or a High School Diploma/GED and 12+ years’ experience in IT related field.

  • 5 years of clinical expertise focused primarily on diagnostic imaging.Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

  • Background in digital diagnostic imaging workflow, including RIS (Radiology Information Systems), Computerized Radiology, and PACS.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate training/presentations.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively 70% to 90%.

  • Highly skilled in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite Desired Characteristics:

  • In depth knowledge of PACS implementation methodology and possesses the ability to translate this in support of a successful implementation.

  • Highly knowledgeable of the Centricity PACS architecture and theory of operation.

  • Diagnostic Imaging experience and strong understanding of related departmental and enterprise image workflow and utilization.

  • In depth knowledge of GE Healthcare Digital products.

  • Effective organizational, assessment and planning skills.
