Job Description Summary

Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for manufacturing scheduling based on project needs and capacity limitation.

  • Prepare manufacturing load scenarios in regular manufacturing load management and S&OP meeting

  • Highlight manufacturing load and OTD R/O, and propose actions based on what if simulation.

  • Coordinate and drive cross functions to implement actions related with manufacturing load and manufacturing OTD.

  • Responsible to measure KPIs related with manufacturing delivery and productivity.

  • Validate TTS of ITO projects from manufacturing capacity perspective based on manufacturing load from S&OP.

  • Regular provide manufacturing hours to FI as the baseline of S.C recovery

  • Ensure team’s work is performed under specialized working procedure & guidelines, manage and review the working performance of Master Scheduling team and people development

  • Drive team productivity and quality improvement by optimizing the process and tools implementation etc. in master scheduling team.

  • Other work assigned by line manager

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

  • More than 3-5 years’ experience on production planning in mechanical industry, team management experience is preferred.

  • Skilled in Microsoft office ware such as MS. Excel, MS. Power Point, and MS. Project, etc.

  • Good English skill in both written and oral.

  • Strong logic thinking and strategic view.

  • Good coordinate and communication ability.

  • Open-minded, flexible and willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the business
