Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Summary/Purpose

NDT Technician at the GE Aviation Manufacturing facility in Terre Haute, IN, focusing on Airflow and Visual Inspection.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition you will :

  • Be or have the ability to become certified by method in accordance with the governing standard

  • Process parts in accordance with the published standards

  • Interpret specifications and all related test results

  • Identify problems compliantly document all and report to site leadership the results

  • Have the ability to ensure all test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and support the sites Lean Transformation process

  • Follow all safety and quality standards with a continued lead by example approach

  • Effectively perform all essential functions with the assigned department

  • Prepare written report from data collected from your inspection results


  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Willingness to maintain a safe and clean work environment

  • Follow all safety and EHS policies and procedures

  • Follow all GE and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain quality workmanship with attention directed to task at all times

  • Evaluate quality problems that inhibit the process with an effective solution

  • Ability to adapt to new methods and / or customer satisfaction

  • Must display good communication skills, both written and oral

  • Maintain records and perform related duties in assigned department

  • Cooperative in meeting schedules and customer satisfaction

  • Display teamwork attitude towards others in department and facility


Maintain satisfactory attendance and work reasonable amount of overtime as needed
