Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Read, understand, and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculations

  • Have working knowledge of precision measuring equipment and demonstrated ability to work within a team environment

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal

  • Follow and promote safe work practices

  • Support lean initiatives

  • Lift light to medium weight in an environment that may occasionally require crouching, stooping and / or awkward work positions

  • Willingness to support team concept and learn / perform other duties as required

  • Laser Machining experience

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Runs product as required

  • Completes machine and part set-up

  • Sets fixture offsets as required

  • Verifies correct laser program(s)

  • Verifies accuracy of tool offset changes as needed

  • Perform periodic inspections of calibration

  • Read and process parts and visual inspections as needed

  • Maintains accurate work records

  • Perform total preventative maintenance to lasers as required

  • Perform deburr operations after laser machining is completed

  • Utilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect parts

  • Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
