General Electric Lead Sales Specialist - Proposals in Taubate, Brazil

Role Summary/Purpose Preparation of proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Hydro proposal process and keep tendering cost in the budget;

  • Lead multifunctional Hydro teams to develop and optimize the proposal strategy toward winning schemes: Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Mgt., Legal, EFS, others;

  • Enhance Customer and GE value during Proposal development by Optimizing execution schedule, costing, performance, terms and conditions;

  • Guarantee the bid process compliance and proposal on-time delivery;

  • Develop Partner Consortium Agreements;

  • Owns Target Pricing, leveraging on global pricing intelligence;

  • Prepare and present the Deal Approvals Review Meeting/R2 up to HRB and PRB, in an articulated manner, and position GE to win;

  • Owns Sales Force (SFDC) data quality (Key dates, Key players, Competition);

  • Take ownership to optimize and challenge the project cost and alignment to Customer requirements to maximize hit rate and GE’s profitability

  • Makes sure that all contractual conditions of the tender are fully understood, analyzed and assessed.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited university or college;

  • Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese

  • Relevant experience in commercial proposal in Hydro or similar business

  • Energy Companies with profound understanding of the legal and technical aspects of the contract.

  • Travel availability;
