General Electric Oncology Sales Leader-Gulf in Tampa, Florida

Job Description Summary

As the Oncology Sales Leader - Gulf, you are responsible for leading Cerianna’s launch in the gulf region. You will be accountable to grow sales revenue, drive coherent product differentiation and commercial strategy for the Cerianna. You will drive commercial excellence in your regional market, as you build and lead an experienced Sales team to achieve the sales objectives of the region. You will be responsible for optimizing resources available to drive market potential by defining and executing a coherent commercial strategy.

Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Accountable to achieve the quarterly and yearly Operating Plan for relevant portfolio in the region (orders, sales, and Contribution Margin, Base Costs, Operating Margin and Cash where applicable), together with, customer satisfaction and retention

  • In conjunction with relevant regional marketing, Modality and regional Sales Force Effectiveness resources, determine the market potential for the region and prioritize the portfolio opportunities; accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline and sales per the normal reporting cycles, as well as input into yearly business planning.

  • Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities for your region. Develop and execute Go-to-market strategy in conjunction with the relevant Modality leaders in order to cover the prioritized potential within the geography; responsible to set appropriate Operating Plan targets based on the market potential, for the members of your team. Provide business overviews to leadership assess progress to goals.

  • Attract, retain, educate and develop world-class commercial talents to execute on Zone Go-to-market strategy; drive performance management within the team, providing a regular operating mechanism of feedback, coaching, and development; work with the team and drive employee engagement activities to ensure retention across the zone, recognizing success, sharing best practices, providing exposure to people within the team with senior leaders within the region, products and modalities.

  • Role-model to team for utilizing GEHC resources and networks to create and manage opportunities; ensure compliance and execution of the regional sales process and rules of engagement within their teams in conjunction with the regional Account.

  • Manage professional relations with key customers, academia, government & administrative bodies and nurture relationships with professional society stakeholders. Provide Voice of Customers and identify opportunities of continuous improvement.

  • Responsible to communicate, execute and leverage the Variable Sales Incentive plans with their teams and ensure all team members utilize the required sales systems to create pipeline visibility and accurate forecasting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • 5+ years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation

  • Previous experience in the Healthcare industry and/or commercial sales

Desired Characteristics

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Healthcare experience, specialty in Oncology

  • Direct and/or Indirect management experience; managing in a matrix organization
