Role Summary:

This role will lead 16+ members of the Unison Materials team across multiple locations to execute strategies to meet cash and delivery goals across three sites including one-over-one people leadership responsibility. Develop and execute strategies to meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, implement long term planning through Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and optimize supply of material to support production plan.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Set and manage materials operating rhythm

  • Partner across operations, commercial and finance functions

  • Lead S&OP process to evaluate risk of long-term demand

  • Schedule plants to match supply constraints and reconcile any issues

  • Ensure inventory goals are met by developing and executing strategies for delivery performance, input and output, forecasting, Raw and WIP optimization, reduction of no demand or excess inventory and by executing inventory reduction projects

  • Set strategic direction for planning and scheduling activities within the organization to optimize delivery of raw material and plant build plans

  • Identify opportunities & implement solutions to ensure delivery of cash and delivery commitments

  • Provide leadership / coaching to motivate, grow and develop team Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution or comparable experience in Operations or Sourcing Desired Characteristics:
