General Electric Managed Markets Regional Account Manager – Oncology in Tampa, Florida
Job Description Summary
As the Managed Markets Regional Account Manager you are responsible for serving as a company liaison and primary point of contact with Medicare Administrative Contractors, key commercial (private) payers and/or Reimbursement Benefit Managers (RBMs) for Cerianna & other future GEHC oncology pharmaceutical diagnostics (PDx) products. You will work closely with other GEHC Managed Markets National Account Executives to arrange & coordinate account calls. The role also assists customers in understanding and addressing access challenges - educating on access services and solutions specific to a product and therapeutic area, and consulting on reimbursement matters. You will play a significant part in facilitating US payer opportunities to position the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics portfolio to ensure patient access and develop decision maker relationships with assigned customer accounts. This position will support the company and market access strategies with the region and reports to the Market Access Lead – Oncology.
Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.
Roles and Responsibilities
Understand and regularly monitor changes to nationwide and regional coverage and policy developments.
Develop, plan and execute coverage and payment strategies for existing Pharmaceutical Diagnostics products and new product launches.
Coordinate payer appointments and strategy with Managed Markets National Account Executives to enable activity and meeting/calendar alignment.
Establish and maintain multiple touch points at assigned health insurance plan provider(s) and other strategic payer accounts, including the C suite level, to create and communicate the value of our products.
Navigate payer organizations to ensure business is building relationships with all key decision makers and potential influencers.
Collaborate with Managed Markets National Account Executives, Market Access Evidence Generation and Medical Affairs on the delivery of approved value proposition presentation, clinical proofs, tools and models.
Collaborate with the Advocacy Lead to develop regional Patient Advocacy Groups, Physician Key Opinion Leaders and Societal advocates to support patient access to Pharmaceutical Diagnostics products.
Ensure appropriate medical coverage policy development for products.
Partner with Field Commercial team to provide required customer solutions to access and reimbursement questions or needs in proactive and timely manner, in close coordination with regional Reimbursement Specialists and the Reimbursement HUB/hotline service.
Identify program trends and opportunities for intervention with payers and provide recommendations to customers.
Develop presentations for site visits, trainings, client virtual presentations, and other meetings as appropriate. Conduct presentations to small and large groups in various settings and often work face to face with providers’ office staff.
Identify customer issues for further follow-up, conduct follow up as needed with accounts or customers.

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in US Healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical sector, including at least 3 years in Market Access.
Experience in US market access environment with deep knowledge of managed care, reimbursement and payment mechanisms including medical coding, claims/billing processes.
Strong regional relationships with decision makers in key commercial, RBM and MAC/Medicare payers
Strong oral, written and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders and service customer requirements.
Problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to “think on feet” and suggest alternatives and solutions.
Ability to travel to connect with payers, customers and field commercial teams
Strong cross-functional project management and organizational skills alongside demonstrated analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Proven track record of achieving positive medical coverage policies within US payer companies.
Experience in oncology, radiopharmaceuticals/diagnostics, imaging or diagnostics.
Product launch experience.
Ability to establish close collaboration with strategic partners and peers and lead collaborative initiatives to secure/maintain product access
Preferably located in the region by a major international airport
