Job Description Summary
This sales leadership role will be responsible for driving services sales and commercial growth for GE Steam Power in Taiwan. She/he will develop the country commercial strategy and lead the regional cross functional teams to execute on this strategy and achieve the desired business outcomes. The role will be customer facing, building and strengthening the GE Steam Power relationships and stakeholder engagements; influencing the positioning of our services products and technology, and rolling out commercial programs to meet our customer needs. This role will need to demonstrate high levels of commercial resilience, grit and operational discipline in driving the wing to wing commercial process ,alongside the broader project execution and field services teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
Leading all sales and commercial activities related to Taiwan; responsible for selling the entire Steam Power Services portfolio, services, parts, solutions, and projects, including Digital and PAC.
Being a true customer advocate, building and developing relationships across the customer base, both public and private industrial customers; building in depth understanding of the customer commercial and procurement processes; aligning the GE Steam Power strategy in Taiwan to longer term government/private customer objectives in terms of the energy transition.
Establishing deep understanding of the various commercial offerings and value propositions; having the right communication skills to influence the various stakeholders, at all levels of an organization.
Contributing to develop and execute on commercial and growth strategy.
Influencing policy development, and ensuring delivery within area of responsibility.
Building strong understanding and knowledge of the competitive landscape and how the GE technology and products are differentiated in the market.
Using judgement to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Bringing new perspective on existing solutions. Using technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Using various sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions and always the challenging the status quo to achieve customer outcomes.

Engineering degree or equivalent
5+ years of sales or commercial experience, preferably with GE
Relevant experience working in Taiwan with industrial or engineering customers
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
