General Electric Marketing Communications Leader in Taguig, Philippines

Role Summary:

This role is responsible for leading ASEAN Marketing Communication strategy in designated countries, working with the ASEAN Digital Marketing Communication teams and Product Marketing teams in the region to develop and implement Digital Marketing strategies, leveraging advertising, exhibits, collaterals/sales tools production and digital communication platforms. He/she coordinates with Vendors and Shared Services team to develop and execute programs to deliver on marketing & sales objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

The role is open to be based in Manila, Philippines or Bangkok, Thailand. Essential responsibilities (but not limited to) are as follow:

• Managing and implementing tier 1-3 events and exhibits for the country

• Work closely with all regional stakeholders (commercial, modality and marketing communications, external vendor, etc) to develop high impact ROI event marketing program,

• Working with global events & brandings team to acquire and apply latest branding and exhibit knowledge for the country

• Updating show impact and ROI on global calendar on a regular basis

• Keeping region and global teams of country exhibits/events update and of latest trends

• Working with Events Operations team for vendor selection guidance and adherence to sourcing policy & procedure

• Acquiring high quality materials and technologies in a cost-effective manner while delivering creative deliverables

• Budget tracking

• Developing tiered events/exhibits strategy together with regional project owners and involved in program evaluation

• Working closely with global branding team to execute new branding roll out plan

• Collaborating closely with DIME team to brainstorm and execute the digital wrapping of all tier events and exhibits

• Providing administrative support to raise internal Purchase Order and Event operations support whenever necessary


• Bachelor’s degree of marketing, communications, business administration or related field (

• 5+Years’ experience planning and implementing events/exhibits and a demonstrated record of developing award-wining trade show

• Proved communication skill, both verbal and written

• Excellent knowledge of integrated communications strategy and the Marketing Mix (Print, Digital, Events)

• Proved organizational, project, and planning skills

• Budget management with proven track record of delivery to tight budgets and timelines

• Ability to interface effectively with all team levels (from planning to execution)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

• Familiar with image editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)

• Experienced in digital marketing

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• English language fluently spoken and written

• Strong analytical and process skills
