Job Description Summary

Responsible for all Finance and Accounting aspects of Advanced Atomization Technologies (AA Tech), a Joint Venture between GE and Parker Aerospace. Partner with General Manager & Operations team to define & implement strategies to drive growth & profitability. Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Build a strong partnership with JV partner and Board of Directors.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage all controllership and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Responsible for preparation of financial statements and reports

  • Own all financial planning, budget and forecasting on a quarterly and annual basis for all aspects of business operations

  • Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits

  • Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions

  • Provide business performance analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination

  • Serve as liaison between AA Tech management team and GE and Parker Aerospace

  • Establish and maintain systems for analyzing and reporting operating results to management

  • Recruit, mentor and develop Finance talent

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • 10+ years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility in Finance and Accounting

  • 3+ years of CFO experience required, preferably at a complex and matrixed organization

  • Role is based in Clyde, NY, at the AA Tech site

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance

  • Strong accounting experience, CPA a plus

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Detailed financial planning, reporting, and variance analysis experience

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems

  • Inclusive with the ability to build a connection with the joint venture and the partners through personal involvement and trust

  • Expert proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
