Job Description Summary

As a power electrical thesis worker, the successful candidate will be assigned to a Senior Engineer, aiding in completing full or a part of a technical paper in a defined field.

The successful candidate will be working with a Senior Engineer in a dynamic and fast-moving project organization where both business knowledge and technical skills will be developed through day-to-day tasks.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting data, information or other resources to support the preparation of a technical paper.

  • Performing prototyping test and works under supervision of senior engineers.

  • Completing the full or a part of the technical paper of the designated subject to a satisfactory level for review and approval.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • The candidate will have completed 2 years of degree level in a related science such as power electronics and electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience.

  • Candidates should be familiar with concepts of power electronics, high voltage engineering and passive components such as inductors and capacitors. Knowledge of high-power and high-voltage design and control issues is a must.

  • Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines and good at knowledge sharing.

  • Willingness to develop ability in technical writing.

  • Previous HVDC work experience is an advantage.
