Job Description Summary
To project manage the industrialisation of new products and enhancements from concept through to volume manufacture. For designs from Global R&D teams into Global manufacturing sites.
Scope & Summary of the Role & Execution Responsibilities :
Project Manage effectively all Industrialisation aspects of assigned projects to fully meet project milestones.
Co-ordinate activities of the Industrialisation Team and cross functional Supply Chain functions in line with project requirements.
Produce and maintain Product Industrialization Plans, Schedules and KPI’s for allocated projects.
Assess, track and report Industrialisation costs at project level.
Provide technical expertise and feedback to the design teams to ensure products are designed for a Lean manufacturing process meeting Quality, Cost & Delivery targets.
Participate in technical design review meetings and co-engineering meetings and other multi-functional review meetings.
Provide monthly project progress reports.

Identify and evaluate EHS risk in own area and implements practical measures.
Participate in hierarchical / team safety visits and contribute to EHS improvement initiatives.
Actively participate in defining corrective actions when work is unsafe or when an uncontrolled risk is observed.
- Comply with GE quality procedures and processes.
Educational requirements & experience:
Suitable experience of implementing Lean Manufacturing Systems and leading teams.
5 years’ experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of design for manufacture techniques.
In depth knowledge of New Product Introduction.
Knowledgeable in IPC, and ISO Standards.
- Degree Level or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
Good organizational skills with the ability to plan own time and work schedules.
Project Management and Planning skills
English (Fluent) - essential
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PPT)
Ability to train others in use of equipment and process techniques.
Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to chair meetings or working groups.
