General Electric Region Product Marketing Manager-Imaging IT in Singapore, Singapore
Regional Product Marketing develops a regional product/portfolio strategy including product positioning, market segmentation, competitive intelligence and targeting and installed base retention for ASEAN and Japan markets.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
This position is responsible for generating growth for GE’s Imaging IT and Cloud collaboration applications and their associated services in the ASEAN and Japan region through demand creation and funnel acceleration in partnership with regional Marketing team; and supporting future product planning by identifying market trends, relevant buying centers and personas, and customer needs.
Provides regional input to business cases for products/upgrades and solution roadmap that are at concept stage. Work with Global Product Marketing to develop, test and prototype new product ideas.
Collects win/loss & in-depth competitive insight on product portfolios at regional level; feedback to global product; recommend and develop marketing programs to adjust product positioning and improve win rate.
Conducts in-depth research to define customer problem statement, success metrics, clinical and economic needs, buying cycles, and personas (to support development of global MRD).
Collaborates with commercial leadership and global marketing to develop the region market and orders forecast. Prioritize and map global customer segments and work with Revenue Marketing on demand creation activities to achieve New Product Introduction and business objectives.
Develop relationship with product-specific Key Opinion Leaders and advisory boards. Identify and establish reference and show sites. Develops programs to gather regional evidence of customer success, early adopters, show sites, and clinical evidence where appropriate.
Employs clinical and industry trend analysis, and market share and competitive analysis relevant to a product / portfolio.
Validates global value proposition and messaging and adapt for regional use. Ensures regional marketing plans & execution are aligned with global marketing plan (value proposition, positioning, marketing mix, etc.) to grow orders and share.
Develops regional thought leadership and advertising and promotion strategy to enable demand creation and funnel acceleration activities.
Adapts global marketing assets (including sales tools) to ensure that the region commercial organization has the right tools to position and sell product configurations / portfolio effectively.
Develop and continuously validate pricing plans for the responsible solutions and services.
Provides commercial teams (direct/ indirect sales channels) product knowledge in product use, differentiation, positioning and pricing,
Serve as a central source of intelligence and thought leader to represent GE’s credibility in relation to national healthcare policy, reimbursement schemes, and fields of new innovations (not limited to responsible product lines).
Participate and lead Imaging IT and Cloud Collaboration presence at key regional conferences and customer events with content for thought leadership and awareness including key value propositions, go-to-market collaterals, sales training, and demonstration strategies.
Create marketing that connects the clinical, financial and workflow improvements from GE’s solutions to our customers’ long-term success
Provide thought leadership within the GE Healthcare organization on the value that clinical IT systems brings to the broader GE organization

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 8+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
Networking and influencing skills – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams to drive alignment across GE businesses
Clinical IT and Radiology workflow experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
Ability to motivate and lead a team of direct and indirect reports
Strong analytical and process skills
MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
10+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding
Healthcare product/industry acumen
Segment experience (where applicable)
Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
