Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and focussed Program Manager to join our growing Aviation Software business in APAC, leading cross-functional client and in-house teams.

The successful candidate will work directly with our customers as well as in-house technical and functional experts to define and confirm project scope including approach and deliverables, provide regular internal and external updates, ensure delivery against the agreed scope and budget and generate and maintain appropriate documentation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with commercial team to understand pipeline of up coming projects, resource planning, required skills and capacity needed.

  • Meet with customers to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project, leading discussion and coming to agreement around approach and requirements with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Generate project plan and establish critical path activities.

  • Work with services organisation to establish appropriate team to deliver against the project requirements, delegate project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals

  • Assure timely resolution of issues, keep the customer advised of the progress of the program, and negotiate changes, variations, solutions to issues.

  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration software and time management tools

  • Ability to work effectively in a global organization, across multiple timezones and diverse stakeholders

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external subject matter experts, data scientists, data engineers et al

  • Commercial acumen; Cognizant of contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in Project and Program Management; PMP certification/qualification is a positive. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
