Job Description Summary
This role reports to the Senior Operations Manager (Turbine Blades Cell). Responsible for Gas Turbine Blades operations planning, daily personnel deployment/management and job orders fulfillment.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Lead a team of supervisors, admin assistants and operators to achieve safety, quality and performance targets
Overall production job orders scheduling, execution & fulfillment (Gas Turbine Blades repair)
Provide directions in resource allocation, production issues resolution, operator training/deployment/coordination
Monitor job progress and intervene when necessary, ensuring production orders are completed on a timely basis
Drive adoption of Lean and implement continuous improvement plans to increase operational effectiveness and improve productivity.
Enforces/implement best practices & culture in proper housekeeping, disciplines and standard work
Monitor labor utilization and efficiency to ensure optimized manpower. Report gaps and take actions to reverse negative trends.
Drive cycle/lead time improvements and implement cost control/reduction strategies
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Aviation or Industrial Engineering encouraged)
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
Strong communications, interpersonal and influencing skills
Able to demonstrate facilitation, planning daily progress of job allocation and organizational skills
Proficiency in computer skills (Web based systems and Microsoft Office)
-Previous experience in manufacturing processing in electronic or chemical processing sector would be considered.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Industrial/Gas Power/Aviation repairs/overhaul/assembly/manufacturing experience is essential
Those with Diploma in any Engineering discipline (such as Mechanical, Aviation or Industrial Engineering) coupled with at least 10 years relevant experience in Industrial/Gas Power/Aviation repairs/overhaul/assembly/manufacturing experience
