Essential Responsibilities:
Lead the daily Cell Control Center (CCC) meetings to assess daily capability to meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
Provide manpower and machine operation plan (including Heat Treatment Schedule, production KANBAN planning & Standard Scheduling by trolley, etc.), track progress of each workstation towards meeting daily targets multiple times per shift.
Address output issues by getting immediate help from relevant support functions and, failing that, escalate issue to Operations Leader within the same shift.
Identify productionconstraint/bottleneckprocesses in the shop, understand available capacity to provide accurate plans to achieve delivery needs, by knowing all “single point failure” machines/skills and ensure a plan is developed to create backups in a timely manner, understanding causes of rework and misses to daily output target and secure timely help from support functions to reduce/eliminate rework.
Plan overtime needs in discussion with relevant stakeholders to ensure sufficient manpower is scheduled to support output targets.
Ensure daily schedule and work priorities are communicated to following shift(s).
Communicate with relevant stakeholders on shipment plan and coordinate delivery on shipment days.
Support the development and execution of multi-year business lean transformation plan that includes implementation of single-piece flow, standard work, Heijunka and other lean tools/concepts.
Participate in EHS/HealthAhead programs and initiatives as required
Other related work: monitor progress of farm-out parts, prepare routers for material issuance, request material for rework/scraped parts, etc.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a diploma with at least 5 years of experience inManufacturing/Planning).
Highly experienced in operation planning and with proven record of successful operation execution in manufacturing environment
