Job Description Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the planning and implementing of multiple large scale transition efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for expert support and service delivery for regional payroll and time & attendance programs. Viewed as a regional payroll expert you will have a strategic role leading the compliance, productivity and efficiency of payroll and time & attendance systems. Organizes knowledge sharing to convey information about new approaches and best practices. Leverages expertise to influence a range of stakeholders and other providers to ensure delivery of strategic priorities.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Leads Regional Service Delivery teams who are responsible for the quality delivery of multiple payroll processes, time & attendance, and related services for a region. Leads the effort to build a 'catching' organization during the transition, define immediate and future support needs, service models and operational frameworks. Provides leadership for transitional team during interim transitional period. Manages payroll queries from employees, managers and HRM's in a timely, and professional manner. Correctly administers payroll processes. Manages service delivery metrics in relation to outsourced payroll.
Oversees the management, documentation and communication of regional payroll programs, policies, and procedures.
Manage the payroll process including the calculation of wages, deductions, and payment of employees’ wages
Ensures appropriate definition of payroll schedules, reconciliations, special processing planning and documentation of business and local requirements.
Monitor regional government regulations and changes in labor law which may affect payroll processes
Manage regional employee records such as tax documents and employee files
Oversee and review preparation of reconciliations and reports
Qualifications/Requirements:
This role requires significant experience in the Human Resources & Payroll and Benefits Service Delivery. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
This role requires at least 6 years of experience in the Human Resources & HR Operations Service Delivery.
Authorized to work in market located
Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise with payroll systems
Experience with time and attendance systems.
Skilled in project management
