Job Description Summary

This role will demonstrate leadership in communicating business SRG goals, SRG programs, and SRG processes for China/Asia. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Works closely with global SRG team, China/Asia SQE team and the suppliers etc.

  • SRG initiative and re-audit planning and its implementation to China/Asia region.

  • Conduct co-audits to critical supplier audit.

  • Identify and lead the delivery of applicable SRG training to SQE team and the suppliers and certification process.

  • Drive continuous improvement and operationalization of SRG programs, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GE SRG/Business-level requirements and GE Best Practices

  • Ensure business growth by leading risk mitigation and SRG productivity enhancements, leveraging across operations at the site

  • Vigorously lead /drive SRG operationalization and accountability to all SQE team.

  • Promote and sustain a positive SRG culture at all levels of the organization

  • Lead and promote implementation of GE security policies at China/Asia region.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local team, community and regulators

  • Support the business in due diligence and new business acquisitions identifying potential risk.

  • Conduct and enforce regular SRG review, risk assessments & audits onsite and cross-sites.

  • Other tasks from leadership`s arrangement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental or Occupational Safety and health field or equivalent EHS leadership experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an Environment, Health and Safety discipline at multinational companies

  • Broad knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements

  • Fluent oral and written English skill

  • Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation skills, and results oriented.
