General Electric System Integration Engineer in Shanghai, China
Job Description Summary
Work with headquarter and customer on engine system integration for aircraft NPI projects. Responsible for system integration team daily operation/project schedule review and tracking/ onsite top issues tracking and closure. Support aircraft flight test management and project issue closure.
Work with customer to define and manage mechanical/functional interfaces between engine system and aircraft.
Drive cross function teams and leverage global resource to resolve system integration and flight test issues on time.
Identify risks, contribute to the mitigation planning, and drive the essential actions’ closure.
Support system integration leader to facilitate onsite engineering review meeting.
Excellent communication skills and Collaboration ability
Strong engine system design and integration background OR equivalent mechanism/thermal/control/engine performance/etc.… engineering background
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
Self-confidence and a quick learner
Minimum of 3 years mechanical engineering experiences, prefer engine-aircraft system integration experience
Master’s degree or above, prefer jet engine/mechanic engineering related background
Good capability of working under pressure
Frequent user of CATIA and/or CFX/Fluent and/or Nastran/Patran/Hypermesh
Programming skills with Python/Math lab is preferred
