General Electric Solution Director in Shanghai, China

Role Summary:This is a high impact, high customer contact position that requires a great deal of initiative in commercial and communication areas. Understanding how to demonstrate, sell and position our solution footprint is required. Position requires that the candidate continue to grow by self-study and education outside of the normal work environment. Frequent travel is required.

Essential Responsibilities:- Working closely with Private Sales team, Modality and Central Marketing, etc. to provide insights into the local market, customer pain points, needs, decision criteria and needed portfolio elements.

  • Proactively supports Private Sales team to develop offerings that effectively address customers’ pain points to win the business.

  • Conduct strategic consult to help customers in project initiation, meanwhile working with customers to deliver comprehensive project plan with market insight, feasibility study and finance plan.

  • Brings together relevant experts from across company to package and tailor the existing Solution portfolio with those from others to win the business.

  • Full responsibility for project execution and operations, also analyze and assess project risk and opportunities, develop and implement mitigation and growth plans.

  • Monitor and report the achievement of milestones and revenue/ cost targets for the customers’ projects

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationship with customers and become their trusted partner.

Qualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor's degree, sales, marketing or consultancy experience in healthcare industry is preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixes organization and can effectively integrate internal/external resource to deliver the proposal.

  • Strong influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Proven excellent project planning skills.

  • Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages.

  • High level presentation skills; able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact.

  • Able to travel frequently

  • Able to have English capability
