Job Description

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • GEHC ONLY - Development and execution of marketing strategy and tactics related to multi-product and services solutions addressing a clinical care area. Focus on Women Health related product and expertise.

  • Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within Women Health related cancer area of responsibility.

  • Lead coordination and projects with National Cancer Center.

  • Has in-depth clinical knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Uses judgments to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within clinical projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions.

  • Uses clinical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions and business outcomes.

  • Acts as a resource within company cross business. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

  • There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required.

  • Leads, coordinates and/or manages execution of marketing plans, identifies and executes opportunities for growth and share gain, and contributes to the development of a product/portfolio strategy including product positioning.

  • Optimizes commercial execution though development of marketing and launch plans and aligning market insights with technology and clinical trends.

  • Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the Women Health area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by the role. Has significant control/influence over commercial priorities.

Desired Characteristics

  • This role requires significant experience in the Marketing & Clinical and Care Area Marketing. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • Maturity and confidence in interaction with top management and business leaders; Lead impact cross BU

  • Strong problem solving; Open, innovative and impact-driven mindset

  • Strong cross team coordination; Team oriented and enjoy work with diverse, cross-functional teams. Also good at leveraging resources internally and externally

  • Desire new knowledge and committed to fast evolving environment


  • Master degree or advanced degree from an accredited university or college

  • At least 6+ years of experience in Clinical Marketing or Care Area Marketing

  • Participate in shaping/leading the creation of growth vision and marketing strategy

  • Proven strong English oral and written communications skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, influencing and leading in the absence of formal authority.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills
