Job Description Summary

Senior Cash Analyst provides leadership in driving visibility, forecasting, accurate and timely reporting of Cash Flows for a small to medium-sized P&L or region, with limited complexity. Lead Cash Analyst typically works across finance and operational functions to optimize operation cash flows. May include oversight for one or more areas of Cash Flow, such as Receivables, Payables, and/or Inventory. Typically reports to Cash Director.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own planning, forecasting, estimates, and reporting of part area of Cash Flow. Develop tools, establish operating mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely forecasting

  • Responsible for quarterly closing/estimates and develop reliable estimates of working capital; communicate current results and estimates to cash leader and business leaders. Understand, communicate and explain variance drivers within the business

  • Drive optimized working capital by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics, especially for past due and unbilled. while advising business or leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities

  • Be the gatekeeper as credit/payment term assessment.

  • Provide oversight to best practices in A/R and cash processes across P&L/region and act as key resource for driving Working Capital projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Clear thinking / problem solving.

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.

  • High energy and self-motivated, especially in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Minimum 3-4 years of Finance working experience, in FP&A or controllership.
