Essential Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of payroll & benefits operations (defined region or entities), 100% align both local and global compliance;

  • Drive vendor service delivery per SLA and manage vendor performance through regular reviews and metrics;

  • Review as-is process, identify & lead improvement plan by implementing lean methodology, drive operation excellence;

  • Assist P&B leader to lead on local implementation of global projects to drive adherence to payroll enterprise standards;

  • Work in close partnership with multiple CoE functions and GE businesses to ensure payroll and benefits processes are performed in accordance with agreed procedures while meeting all accuracy, timeliness, and satisfaction;

  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate audit controls are in place and all processes are well documented to meet compliance and local regulatory laws.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor degree or an equivalent experience;

  • Independent worker with strong execution;

  • Good change management, apt to work under pressure

  • Passion on learning, clear thinker

  • Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail

  • Fluent in English & Chinese mandarin;

  • Skillful in MS Office, e.g. Excel, PPT;

  • 2 years or above working experience in multinational company

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience of a HR or Operations process ownership role in a fast-paced, customer- oriented environment within a large organization

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, high standard of accuracy, an attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills

  • Proficient IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Experience establishing and maintaining fully collaborative supplier relationships

  • Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision

  • Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges

  • Solid analytical skills including the ability to identify trends and implement process improvements

  • Effective interpersonal skills; proven ability to develop and maintain team and client

  • relationships, both in immediate and remote contexts

  • Strong presentation and status reporting skills

  • Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics

  • Demonstrated project ownership and accountability

  • Confidentiality & controllership mindset
