General Electric Inside Sales Team Leader in Shanghai, China

Role Summary:The Inside Sales Team Leader leads a team of demand generation specialist and account managers through the implementation of sales strategies and ensuring the maintenance of excellent relationship with external customers. This role will also be responsible with setting sales goals and compiling reports on targeted activity. Responsibilities also include building out strategy and process around new inside sales programs with GE Healthcare business partners.

Essential Responsibilities:• Leading, managing and motivating an inside sales team to meet agreed targets through various sales strategies

• Provide clear vision and mission to inside sales team to ensure all members of the organization have clear objectives and priorities

• Work with IS Leaders to develop targeted inside sales campaigns and working with partner function teams to set up new campaigns &;/or new partnerships.

• Work with IS Leaders to develop targeted inside sales campaigns and working with partner function teams to manage ongoing campaigns & customer partnerships.

• Work with IS Leaders and business partners to ensure liquidity of operation.

• Set quantifiable and measurable metrics at the individual sales person level for performance management and incentive compensation purposes.

• Forecasting of individual, campaign and team performance against targeted goal(s). Weekly, Quarterly and Annually

• Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas

• Provide excellent customer service, customer-focused approach

• Coach and mentor direct reports daily, and hold team accountable for meeting sales objectives

• Expertly articulate the value of GE and overcome objections

• Provide the necessary leadership, support and guidance to ensure the inside sales strategy is aligned with business direction

• Hire talented Sales personnel by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating a large pool of candidates for core attributes and values essential for the inside sales team role

• Build and perfect the playbooks that govern our daily and weekly cadence of sales activity informed by approved best practices

• Setting strategy around shared service support of channel relationships for GE business partners

• Ability to manage and communicate strategy to all levels of organization including senior level management

• Execute functional expertise of sales tools (SFDC, Outreach, etc.)

• Identify the materials and training needed to upskill Sales team

• Stay current with industry trends and leadership best practices

• Understand and fulfill all regulations of the internal policies of the company

Qualifications/Requirements:Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of previous sales experience

• 2 + years of sales leadership experience

• Previous customer relationship management experience

• English language skills at level of expert/native

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication – both with internal and external customers

• Ability to work in a team or individually if required

• Proficient end-user IT skills including SFDC, MS Office and Outlook
