General Electric Commercial Finance Leader - DXR in Shanghai, China

Job Description Summary

The Commercial Finance Leader of DXR is responsible for supporting China DXR business (i.e. Xray and Womens Health) for collecting and analyzing financial data, act as business partner closely with commercial leaders, integrate and develop processes that meet business needs, manage complex issues, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Assist DXR commercial GM to set up financial reporting and operational mechanism;

  • Partner with modality GM and product leaders on product market positioning, pricing policy, promotion plans and configuration offerings;

  • Provide financial analysis and support to drive financial results (e.g. business cycle time analysis, backlog conversion analysis, etc.);

  • Coordinate DXR SII process, and set up DXR commercial operating plans/targets, including orders, sales, costs, margins, etc.;

  • Closely track financial performance, identify the risks and opportunities, and communicate with management team for actions accordingly;

  • Perform financial projection with financial modeling, and provide insights to management team for the observations from the financial trends;

  • Perform cost analysis and take actions for cost/budget control;

  • Quarterly closing, ensure ledger truly reflects operational performance and work with FP&A to identify areas of leakage;

  • Support business review with both local and global teams;

  • Seek simplification opportunities to improve process efficiency and reduce work redundancy.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree or above in accounting or finance;

  • Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas;

  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication capability;

  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change;

  • Strong Excel skills in data analytics;

  • Adaptable/Flexible. Be open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations;

  • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others;

  • Fluent in Chinese and English.
