About TCLP Program

TCLP (Technical Commercial Leadership Program) is established with the goal of fulfilling our technical + potential commercial talent pipeline for future growth in GE Aviation. It targets to bring in energetic, ambitious and hardworking early talents, provides them with intensive development programs. By taking the two-year rotation program, learn GE product and services, understand airline operation, build up the technical foundation and commercial sense, to become a strong candidate of Field Service Engineer of GE Aviation in the future.

EID Intern - TCLP

The EID (Early Identification) Program is GE’s Internship Program designed to identify high-potential engineering students early in their academic career as possible candidates for GE Aviation Technical Commercial Leadership Program (TCLP) or direct hiring.

The EID Internship Program offers students the opportunity to experience a real-life work environment at GE, developing the professional skills critical to a successful career, and a fast-track to the TCLP enrollment.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Will have 2 months assignments in field service engineer, commercial, Marketing and Services roles, which cover products / regions / customers in China

  • Will be involved in daily job to understand GE as well as the basic working process

  • Will be assigned certain projects to build and delivery the result which should show your project management skill and leadership potential

  • Strictly follow internal policy and GE compliance standard


  • Post graduate student who will graduate in year 2023

  • Major in Aviation or Mechanical (aircraft engine or related)

  • Full time during July and August

  • Passionate in aviation career, willing to take Technical roles and work under pressure

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills, good team player

  • Flexible on rotation in different cities and locations

  • Demonstrates leadership potential

  • Fluent in English
