General Electric Pricing Specialist (6-month contract) in Seoul, South Korea

Role Summary:

The Pricing Specialist is responsible to provide support and expertise to configure complex medical products (like MR, CT, DGS and Surgery), at the same time maintaining Siebel database to ensure it is accurate and relevant to the region. This is a 6-month contract position.

Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Support Configuration and quotation in Siebel for all DI modalities namely MR, CT, DGS and Surgery in line with the Service Level Agreement with regional teams (time and quality)

  • Plan and pro-actively manage the entire process of fulfilling a customer contract to ensure that customer requirements are met.

  • Communication with sales, ITO, service, marketing, finance in all regions to ensure quality quotes• Follow-up on quote pricing with relevant approvers

  • Follow-up on approval process with relevant approvers

  • Liaising with Global Engineering, APAC and marketing team support to ensure regular upkeep and maintenance of Siebel CAT#s ensuring that they are up to date, relevant for the region, include the correct short and long descriptions and pricing

  • Maintenance and upkeep of Quick Buys for all modalities (liaising with regional modality and APAC mktg. to ensure relevance for each country)

  • Maintenance and version control of price book for service, third party items, marketing offerings, trainings and others in Siebel or any other parallel database

  • Maintenance and version control of interactive communication tools used to communicate between region sales/modality

  • Ownership of LSI (Locally Sourced Item) process to ensure all third party items are approved by respective functions and updated in Siebel

  • Generation and follow-up of approval of OCCRs (Order Configuration Change Request)

  • Contribute to generation of monthly/quarterly reporting/dashboards with senior management for operating metrics, OCCRs, service level agreements etc.

  • Support ITO quotation/approval related internal and external Quality audits and closure of audit findingsQuality Specific Goals:

  2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  4. Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPAA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken.

  5. Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken.

  6. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  7. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  8. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

  9. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Required Qualifications (in order of importance):

  1. Fluent communication and excellent written skill in English and in the local language where candidate is based

  2. Very reliable, attentive to detail and at the same time responsive and committed to deliver results on tight timelines

  3. Strong customer service skills when dealing with internal customers (Sales Account Managers)

  4. Be a good team player: distribute the load, share thoughts, questions and ideas with the team
