Partner with business leadership to manage branding, product and/or services promotion, and partner with the business to provide functional expertise. Participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Drive customer communications program success in the areas of marketing communications, digital communications & events management. Executes standard sales tasks and typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. May be responsible for targeted clients, stable regions, and/or small/medium sales territories.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead communications strategy and execution of communication plans with external parties, within the Company, and across the business. Develop market communications engagement that supports the business strategy. Provide efficient communication execution with customers, business leaders, and the media. Align and integrate communication plans across organizations. Integrate marketing / customer communications to strengthen the GE brand. Direct business-level communications activities in support of corporate strategies and initiatives

  • Broadening knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales process or customer groups to execute policy/strategy. Still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

  • Develop and lead market, customer, and policy analysis, engagement, and strategy to create growth for GE products, services & businesses. Develop strategy for existing product & service portfolio as well as new biz models for white space, new technologies and emerging areas. Engage across function, team and business & support new biz incubation

  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or IT or equivalent

  • Experience working in Field/Product Marketing and/or Digital Marketing including social media marketing, website design and development, email marketing, digital campaign creation and management, contact/lead database management (segmentation and reporting)

  • English written and oral fluency required.

Desired Characteristics

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong balance of technical and marketing capabilities.

  • Demonstrated project management and budget skills

  • Demonstrated ability to engage strategically through implementation

  • Content marketing and marketing automation experience

  • Inclusive leadership style

  • Strong analytical and process skills

  • Proven ability to navigate and influence at multiple levels within the organization

  • Healthcare (preferably medical device) product experience and industry acumen

  • Knowledge of Imaging/Radiology product categories offerings, and commercial processes would be a strong plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to innovate & develop new ideas linked to business KPIs.

  • People leadership skills including expertise in change management, etc.

  • Customer-centric and service-oriented attitude.

  • Proven ability to motivate and work effectively with diverse, cross-functional global teams and outside vendors
