GE Healthcare has a wonderful opportunity to join our project management team in the Pacific Northwest! As a Project Specialist, you will own the project management and implementation process for GE Healthcare Imaging projects. You will be an influencer and the hub of activity for sales order review, project planning and documentation, resource coordination, and issue resolution. This is a remote & customer facing position - candidates are required to live in the Seattle Metro area.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day activities required to ensure the project is completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals, departmental policies, and the standard terms and conditions of the contract.

  • Work closely with the Customer, Order Management Specialist, Manufacturing, and Field Teams (e.g., Install, Clinical Education Support, Sales) to remotely coordinate the delivery and installation process ensuring timely execution of assigned systems and devices orders.

  • Write project plans for assigned projects, which include clear milestones and assignment of project task responsibilities.

  • Create, update and distribute project documentation, including contact lists, schedules, meeting summaries and action item lists.

  • Manage projects in accordance with key performance metrics of Healthcare Project Management and Shared Services organizations.

  • Identify, propose and/or participate in development of process improvements for the Healthcare Project Management and Shared Services teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year experience in project management; or Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in project management or technical field; or High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years progressive experience in project management.

  • Ability to meet customer site access requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination.

  • Ability to monitor and manage critical path elements of consolidated projects.

  • Experience managing revenue generating projects.

  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight stays when needed.

  • Must hold valid driver’s license.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in project managing X-Ray mobile installs.

  • A working knowledge of GE systems: eOM, My Orders, and My Projects.

  • Healthcare, medical, hospital or clinical environment experience.

  • PMP certification.

  • Vendor implementation experience.
