General Electric EHS Blade Services Manager in Schenectady, New York
Job Description Summary
Working as an integral member of the NAM EHS services team, the purpose of this role is to manage EHS aspects of blade service operations by partnering with the operational team, coaching, training employees and contracting partners and developing systems of work that meet local regulatory provisions whilst being cognisant of human factors and lean principles.

Essential Responsibilities:
As part of the Services team, provide strong regional EHS leadership for the blade services organization supporting business goals and objectives.
Cultivate an exceptional EHS culture aligned to Vision Safe objectives
Lead key EHS strategic imperatives with customer site / field service operations.
Drive constantly EHS standards to lead to a zero harm environment
Demonstrate strategic and tactical knowledge to deliver excellence and drive continuous improvement and compliance
Provide leadership, support and expert technical guidance to the services team to assure programs are developed and effectively implemented
Work collaboratively across GE Renewable Energy businesses to identify and leverage best practices to drive standard operations
Understand and interpret local/local/customer requirements including those in relation to chemical management
Understand and follow customer expectations, enhance customer relationships and assure business credibility and differentiation with employees, customers and other stakeholders
Understand regulatory changes and trends and forecast business impact
Coach and support for the operations teams in developing working standards and risk assessment
Deliver EHS training for operation team including field technicians
Support local operation team with the EHS LMWP/GE standards tools.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or related EHS field; alternatively, professional qualification/apprenticeship with significant experience in EHS.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS, wind industry, construction projects or customer services activities is preferable

The salary range for this position is $114,000-190,000 USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for variable incentive compensation.
