Job Description Summary
Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for executive compensation plans including stock options and deferred compensation plans. Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services.
Prepare and review account reconciliations.
Prepare and review journal entries ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
Prepare periodic balance sheet analysis and variance explanations.
Engage with auditors to walk through internal control processes.
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in accounting or finance or at least 4 years of work experience in accounting or finance.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong analytical skills .
