Job Description Summary

Own the customer-facing technical execution of Power Electronic opportunities and project execution in North America. Coordinate the development of functional specifications and detailed designs with the Power Electronics Center of Excellence (COE) in Tampere, FN. Participate technical negotiations with end customers. Be the customer-facing technical leader, participating in their reviews, collecting comments, and driving their resolution with the COE. Provide technical coordination to other entities in fulfilling non-COE scope.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Technical clause-by-clause review of opportunities during tendering, and during execution to ensure GE meets contractual requirements of Power Electronic solutions

  • Coordinate the development of proposal, specifications and detailed designs with the Tampere COE, to optimize the offering and delivery of a solution which maximizes customer benefit while preserving GE margin

  • Present proposed solutions, studies and designs to customer, participating in their review, collecting their comments, and tracking the technical resolution of these comments with the COE.

  • Develop specifications and work scope documents for third parties performing non-COE scope. Provide technical oversight and review of their work, and ensuring it is complimentary to the core solution provided by the COE.

  • Participate in site commissioning and customer training as the regional technical representative of GE's Power Electronics COE.

  • Work with regional Operations team to meet on-time delivery and on-budget execution metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Miimum of 3 years of expeirence
