Job Description Summary
The GA Services & AAA Sales Specialist will be responsible to sell GE Grid Automation Services & AAA portfolio, utilize understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and must have the capability to deliver short-term and some long-term business results. Focus on Protection & Control Modernization and Retrofits, Consulting Services, Master Services Agreements, Upgrades of legacy systems and Advanced Automation Applications such as Load Shedding, Motor Health Management, Electrical Control Systems, and other offering from the portfolio.
This position is focused on the Brazilian Industrial Segment to map, contact, promote solutions, build relationship, and support companies with intensive consumption and/or generation of energy that are seeking for Energy Efficiency and reliability for their manufacturing processes.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Work directly with customers to influence technical specifications and get key orders.
Meet assigned Orders Received and Contribution Margins targets
Provide leadership for the sales to Grid Automation Services & AAA customers through the formulation and execution of strategies and plans that capitalize on the customer’s strengths supplemented by GE’s solutions
Build customer relationships
Support the assigned customer list in sales activities and identifying new opportunities
Coordinate activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, and delivery
Closely coordinate with Tendering and Service Application Engineering team to maximize GE’s market presence and market share.
Negotiate contracts, terms & conditions, drive risk approval and mitigation
Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base
Work with Marketing to develop project specific sales strategies for Grid Automation Services & AAA customers
Make recommendations for continued growth
Keep an organized and updated opportunities/project pipeline in the existing CRM tool
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Electrical Engineering or co-related degrees
At least 8 years of experience in protection, control and automation segment
In-depth knowledge of the Industrial Segment
Fluent in English
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to influence others
Ability to coordinate opportunities simultaneously
