Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA Desired Characteristics:
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
Experience with Java, Go or Python programming languages
Contributed to or maintain open source projects
Hands-on experience in web services (REST, OAuth etc.,)
Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL etc., and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Riak, Couchbase etc.
Hands-on experience in utilizing Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Integration and Data)
Experience stream processing engines like Storm, Spark Streaming etc.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with Big Data / Hadoop
Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) or a containerized environment (Mesos, Kubernetes)
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Ability to takes ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members
