This Staff Application Operations Engineer will be an instance owner for an Oracle EBS instance that supports 7 sites and 2K users. This position will be responsible for the coordination of all dev/ops resources associated with the Oracle EBS instance (prod and non-prod). They will partner with the business to ensure system stability and business execution. They will provocatively manage all aspects of the instance to remediate issues before they appear in the environment.
Directly manage the Ops team including the SysAdins and DBA’s
Act as Product Owner for Dev work related to remediating long running issues (ie. Technical Debt in instance)
Manage Planned and Unplanned Outages and Communications
Create and Report out on operations dev/ops metrics, ID/Implement improvement opportunities
Responsible for all compliance activity associated with the Oracle EBS instance
Responsible for fostering positive relationship with Oracle corp. and follow up on Service Requests
Maintain instance vitality status and manage any vitality related projects associated w/ Oracle instance
Coordinate work related to any infrastructure capacity management
Manage the DBA team to ensure system stability, proactive DB efforts, non-prod cloning, etc.
Manage all tasks/coordination/communication associated w/ planned outagesRole reports into the Director of America's Oracle ERP Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum of 5 years of IT professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of Enterprise System experienceEligibility Requirements:
