General Electric Sr UX Interaction Designer in San Ramon, California

Role Summary:

Designs and develops visual requirements that detail how mobile and online software applications should look and behave based on known requirements and research. Uses storyboards and hig and low fidelity mockups to deliver these requirements to software engineers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conducts user research to understand user needs, mental models and working contexts

  • Develops moderately complex application designs, including flows, interactions, and information organization, for mobile and desktop apps.

  • Effectively documents and communicates design (via wireframes, mockups, and requirements engineering).

  • Creates annotated prototypes or wireframes of user interface designs that communicate the behavior of applications.

  • Successfully executes across multiple small to medium projects in a cross-functional environment. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B software application design; 5+ years' experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction, Graphic, or Industrial Design preferredEligibility Requirements:
