Job Description Summary
As the Manufacturing Business Operations Leader, you will leverage strong business acumen and a passion for operational rigor to design and deploy a Global Sales Operations strategy for the Digital Manufacturing Organization. Reporting into Richard Kenedi, General Manager of Digital Manufacturing and leading a regional sales operations team, you will define and deploy standardized work for global sales operations, price realization and strategic planning goals for the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
Sales force effectiveness, productivity analysis, allocation of resources and territory coverage, sales incentives, Salesforce CRM platform and tools, lead for commercial planning and forecasting, Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes, ITO lead for business reviews.
Developing commercial expertise across one or more countries, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Influences policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.
Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
Global Sales Operations
QMI process and execution standardized across regions
Pipeline metrics (total rate, conversion, etc..) & performance visualization and triggers for action
Consistent process and rigor across regions to drive improvement and determine multiple paths toward to Order/Revenue targets
Account planning leadership review cadence
NEAT implementation within BU across the regions
Manage the QBR process and ensure consistency of content with CAMs for all Channel Partner reviews
Annual (or determined cadence) for Price Book setting, process, structure, execution
Process, structure, execution for NPI pricing, work with Product Managers to ensure proper market research completed
Coordinate and assure Lean activities within the BU
Work closely with the Lean leader to ensure PSRs transition properly to sustained standard work
Maintain and manage the Lean activity funnel within the organization
Work closely with the Lean leader to make Lean a ‘way of life’ throughout the organization within the BU
Action Plan and Action Item management across all functions and activities within the organization
Annual Planning / Strategic Planning
Drive forward year planning
Work closely with Strategy lead to drive annual strategic planning initiative
Management / Leadership
Lead a team of 3 regional sales operations
Be a part of the leadership team in recruiting, developing and retaining the best talent for the Manufacturing team
Operational management of key meetings
QMIs, MORs, QBRs, Leadership Staff
Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sales & Digital Sales Operations.
