Job Description Summary
The GEHC Ultrasound business consists of ultrasound consoles, handheld ultrasound devices, and ultrasound digital solutions across 6 different market segments. As customers’ needs for more and consistent digital solutions continue to grow, the market for digital ultrasound solutions advances. Our mission with Ultrasound Digital Solutions is to develop a seamlessly connected world of devices and software that creates additional value to end users and customers beyond devices alone. Solutions will connect clinicians, increase user confidence, improve efficiency, and provide affordable cloud solutions across customers segments and demographics. Partnerships will be a cornerstone of these Digital Solutions, as more and more innovators enter into this space and our customers still need a unified solution set and experience.
We are looking for a Partnerships & Innovation Product Leader with experience in managing the identification, relationship & business development building, contract execution, solution building, and market delivery of partner solutions to a global healthcare customer base. In this role you will serve as the ultrasound focal point for all business interactions with a growing start-up community, including many investments in the artificial intelligence space.
Build and execute a Partnerships & Innovation strategy across a $3bn U/S franchise
Own accountability for market perception and financial success of an U/S Partnership Program
Build new business plays & products concepts to enter brand new market opportunities
Control all business interaction aspects with external software partners with a heavy focus on contracting and negotiation
Create licensing models and pricing based on customer demands and regional customization
Curate, support, and grow an exceptional community of global partners
Knowledge of the healthcare market and understanding of the healthcare AI industry
Work closely with product and marketing teams to ensure commercial viability of all developed solutions
Work with customer engagement, product management, and technical leads to ensure product vision utilizing external partners’ software is achieved
Develop and manage backlog of external partners to ensure a healthy funnel of AI solutions is available for potential business engagement
Participate and lead cross functional team meetings/updates and contribute to dashboards displaying progress metrics for programs
Lead and drive process change and improvement
Foresee risks and create risk management solutions as appropriate

BS in Business Administration or equivalent, or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with work experience in business administration. MBA is desirable.
Minimum 2 years in Business Development for software products
Minimum 6 years technical & professional experience in software development, software project management, or product management of a technical product
Strong commercial background and experience in driving, negotiating, and closing business/partnership agreements.
Preferred: Prior experience in Healthcare, either on the provider side or in the med-tech or healthcare IT space.
Preferred: Prior product management experience launching product concepts into new or adjacent markets. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
